Over the last few decades, rates of obesity have dramatically increased. We know that obesity by itself can increase one's risks of developing certain conditions, such as high blood pressure and diabetes, amongst others. Dr. Jarret Morgan, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at UMMC, is joined by Dr. Nathan Alexander, current Resident of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, to discus the topic further.
