This sermon series will uncover a host of strange events as the church carries out its mission among the Gentile peoples. Without Jewish heritage, these former outsiders find themselves grafted into a family with a deep history with God. But even as Israel wrestled with Yahweh God, so now the Gentiles find themselves weirdly wrestling as they join in the Messiah’s family. This series will remind us that people far from God will find plenty of strangeness as they encounter the living God.
