I'm Rob Collinson and I'm a composer/arranger based in County Durham.
This week I'm featuring Portishead Town Band this week, and contributions from others including Ferryhill Town Band.
Although I'm entering my fiftieth year as a "bander" my work isn't exclusively for brass bands.
Each hour-long show will have "featured" and "guest" bands, with the occasional "showcase" thrown into the mix.
You'll hear familiar and not so familiar bands and music drawn from my personal experience.
