- To a degree there’s always a certain mask that we wear in company… or maybe there’s not. When there’s no mask you’re just being who you are which also brings in the idea that the people around you can in some way help to define you. There’s a certain degree of influence other people have on your life.

Any degree of lack of trust really comes down to there’s something there within ourselves that’s revealing. I’ve gone through times in my life where I’ve lost trust with myself, it really doesn’t even matter why or what those things were, it’s just trusting that we will be able to navigate through whatever situation and it will be OK in the end.
- Sometimes we’re just trying to help, but other times there’s something in us (the ego) that wants to give good advice for our own satisfaction. Is that a bad thing? I don’t know. But there’s definitely something to be said for listening deeply, with the heart rather than just listening to respond with something. Being with someone in their suffering can do so much, rather than offering any advice or solutions.

Rebecca is an artist and designer based in the South of England. She graduated from Kingston University in London 2013 with a degree in Illustration and Animation. After a shift in direction and new challenge working as a lifeguard and in management in the leisure industry, she went travelling around the world through South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. She returned to the UK, to begin a journey working commercially in art and design.
