This weeks heart warming and original ensemble of melodies comes not from tracks not only green-lit for A-Side selection, But from the Alternate mixes that either reside on the B-Sides or are creations of un-promoted mixes by production teams and remixers of whom where often gifted the freedom to express themselves lacing their productions with the smoking beats and tempo’s of our streets.
I feel very fortunate…Especially in reflection to the Industry today! having lived through the definitive decades of Dance, Even more so to have dedicated my life towards not only sharing the goodness that lies within the records that I have collected since my young adulthood…But Better still to take two steps nearer towards being at one with the Artists, Musicians and Producers as I dared to be different… Pushing my absorption of instrument driven musicality to limits of symbiosis to be at one with my favourite Artists, Giving my live sets that magic touch!
I cannot begin to explain to you the level of heightened senses experienced over the years whilst Beat matching especially in the hope of achieving a status of an achieved Master Mixer…
