The upshot of the two big recent summits on the Ukraine War/SMO - the Trump-Putin meeting in Alaska followed by the euro-lapdogs scurrying to Washington to yap loudly to 'daddy Trump' - is that Russia and Ukraine's positions remain, to surface appearances, impossible to reconcile. You cannot have a 'lasting' peace settlement where Ukraine is both 'intact within its 1991 borders' and 'cedes 5 regions to Russia', and both 'free of NATO weapons & troops' and 'armed & garrisoned by NATO...
