Sarika Goulatia is a sculptor/installation artist who comes to Pittsburgh by way of Gorakhpur, India. She has a Bachelors and Masters degree in textiles at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in India and a BFA from the School of Art at Carnegie Mellon University. She spoke with the Broadcast Podcast about what inspires her work and her thoughts on cultural assumptions and appropriation. Check out her work at her website.
