Dress Codes in Schools- Public/Private MLB- Astros Manager AJ Hinch and GM Jeff Luhnow were released from the team after the MLB investigation into the Sign Stealing scandal of the 2017. MLB suspended them both for 1 year, fined the organization 5 Million and took away 2020 and 2021 first and second round draft picks. In the meantime Alex Cora the Manager of the Bo Sox until a few hours ago has seemed to be the main implement in this 2017 scandal. The Red Sox have since Mutually Parted ways with Cora as he is expected to have the same if not more serious punishments leavened on him especially since MLB is a looking into sign stealing scandal from the 2018 Red Sox. NCAA Football National Championship- LSU/Clemson last night. Hell of a game, Joe Burrow was just sick. Thaddeus Moss was rock solid. The LSU D just stood tall. Clemson started off strong, made a good run at it, had the lead twice early, but their Offense was just shut down. Trevor Lawerence who is stuck in college one more year had his first loss in collage last night. The Mega Cast with all the ESPN Channels was awesome. OBJ Payoff NCAA Hoops- Pitt- after leading at the half and most of the second half Pitt takes a home loss to Louisville tonight. 73-68. Trey McGowens was you leading scorer with 24 points, 5 bounds, and 3 assists. Last week Pitt had a win in Chapel Hill over UNC though Roy Williams says this is his worst team he has ever had, then a loss to Miami. Panthers have UNC coming to the Peat this Saturday. PSU- has taken two losses in a row to Rutgers and Wisconsin taking them out of the top 25 and the Nitney Lions head to Minnesota tomorrow night. WVU- #12 currently playing TCU and has been a dominant force in the Big 12 with some large wins and “good loses”. Like to #6 Kansas. Duke- #3 got shocked by Clemson tonight 79-72 and has Louisville this Saturday but pretty much has been the typical Duke winning more often than not. Penguins- won 4 straight with 3 on the road over the Knights, Aves, and Yates, back home tonight with the return of Crosby. 6-4 Geno with 2 goals and 4 points, Crosby with a goal and 4 points, rust goal with a hell of a drop pass from geno. The team seems to be clicking. Unfortunately, the pens are getting hot to go to cool down period with the Allstar beak and their week buy. So like 10 days off. Jarry and Letang going to the Allstar game with Tanger as a Captain. Shots from stands in skills competition NFL- Playoffs- Hell of a chiefs/Texans game. Same in Green Bay with the Seahawks. Saturday was Vikings getting smacked by the Niners and the RatBirds getting shalacked by the Titans. This Sunday we have he conference championships with Packers in SanFran, and the Titans in KC. Next week we have the Sony Open at the Wal’alae Country Club in Honolulu. NCAA Football- the games are down to the Championship . LSU and Clemson. Review Bowls- pull info on line. NCAA Hoops- top 25 Pitt- took a loss in the opening of Conference play to Wake Forest and Head to UNC tomorrow night. UNC isn’t a ranked team this year but will still be tough game on the road. Pitt Finds themselves 8th in the ACC at 1-2 conference play and 10-4 overall. PSU- 5th in the Big 10 #20 in the country but took a loss tonight to Rutgers with puts them 2-2 conference and 12-3 overall WVU- #17 overall and 6th in Big 12. The Eers had a big win over #5 OSU over the Holiday and took a loss to #3 Kansas . They rebounded with a win over OK St, and take on Texas Tech next. Dequesne- Dukes are #1 in A10, 2-0 Conference , 12-2 overall. The Dukes have St Joes and GW this week. Pens- are Currently playing the Golden Knights now in Vegas on a west coast swing that also includes the Aves and the Yotes before coming back home to the Wild. The Pens have been on a wave of win 2 and lose 1. The Injury bug has bit again with Jake Guentzel needing shoulder surgery and is out 4-6 months after a hard hit to the boards. Crosby is on the road trip and was skating in practice this morning . He may be ready for a return on this trip if not, when they get back home. Also, Kris Letang and Tristin Jarry have been named to the All-Star game. Pull Standings. Steelers- 8-8 missing playoffs. Highs and lows, what do they need to make happen, where do they go from here. This Match Play tournament is left for the top players in the world and some captians picks. This brings up talk of more Match Play style tournaments for the future. All the Soccers - NCAA- Bowl Season is appon us. Pull Schedule . NCAA Basketball - Pitt- 8-3 and 1-1. 5th in ACC, Pitt has 2 more Non Conference games left before the bulk for conference play starts. They recently had a comeback win over Northern IL. WVU- 9-1 and 0-0 number one in Big 12 the Mountaineers had a few tough games coming upon after Christmas with OSU and Kansas but find themselves at #25 as of now. PSU- 9-2 and 1-1 2nd in Big 10 PSU finds themselves at #23 with 2 games left before Conference play Begins. ND- 8-3 and 0-2 and 12th in the ACC. UNC- 6-4 and 1-15th in the ACC currently not a top 25 team with som tough Non Conference games left before ACC Play Duke- 9-1 and 1-0 and first in ACC, #4 in Country with some pretty easy games left before ACC Play. TOP 25- look up Penguins- had a good win last night in Calgary with 2 more games on their western Cananada swing. Late Games are fun for us. The Pens after that will have a quick true Home N Home with Nashville. The Pens are 4th in the Division with lots to work on for the Injury stricken team. The team is going to have to get hit hear soon as we approach the end of the first half of the season. Pull Standings of NHL MLB- Good Offseson for Pitchers.
