He’ll be engaging in conversations with Brethren of Jewish, Islamic, Christian, and Hindu beliefs, exploring how Freemasonry unites them across different faiths. Membership is open to any man over the age of 18 irrespective of their race or religion. When becoming a Freemason, members are expected to be able to affirm a belief in a ‘Supreme Being’. This is deliberately phrased so as to be fully inclusive and we celebrate the diverse nature of the beliefs of our members. There is no requirement to be an active practitioner of any particular religion.

The Universities Scheme is a key initiative of the United Grand Lodge of England to introduce Freemasonry's core values to a new generation. Established in 2005, the scheme has grown into a nationwide network, with 87 Lodges and 7 Chapters in university towns and cities across England and Wales. These Lodges warmly welcome individuals from various academic and professional backgrounds.
