El frente Oriental fue el frente europeo durante la primera guerra mundial. Se localizaba en Europa Central y Oriental, siendo mucho más extenso que el frente Occidental. Los principales enfrentamientos fueron: Invasión de Prusia Oriental, la batalla de Galitzia, la ofensiva de Brusilov y la ofensiva de Kerensky, esta última con 400.000 bajas rusas.
