John Ceccarelli is the Senior Director of Product Management at Azul Systems responsible for Azul Platform Prime which is their hyper optimized build of OpenJDK.He joins the show to discuss Azul's optimization of OpenJDK, specifically the JIT compiler and the garbage collector.
