Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Doremus (NOAA Corps) flies the WP-3D Orion directly into the most violent hurricanes in the world to help gather storm data that saves lives. He is a Boston native and graduate of Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. He has over 4,100hrs of flight time in NOAA aircraft, to include time in the Twin Otter, Turbo Commander and the WP-3D Orion hurricane hunter aircraft.
