Don Durston is a pilot and aerospace engineer with over 42 years of experience at NASA Ames Research Center. His expertise with wind tunnel and supersonic technology are currently focused on NASAs X-59 Quiet Super Sonic Technology mission, commonly known as as QUESST. This aircraft and the research done by Don and the QUESST team has the potential to revolutionize air travel as we know it, by making supersonic commercial travel over land a reality in the not so distant future. “SocialFlight Live!” is a live broadcast dedicated to supporting General Aviation pilots and enthusiasts during these challenging times.
