The Blame Game...We call it a game but it isn't all that fun really.
'It's not my fault I drink this much - I do it because...'
Enter one of a thousand possible answers:
- My parents
- My upbringing
- My job
- My partner
- My mother-in-law
- I live above a pub
- Society
- TV and Media and Mr Blobby
- Etc. etc. etc
You name it, we have probably blamed one of these things for our over drinking at some point!
But what purpose does passing the buck play in helping us get sober?
Is it instead diverting the attention away from the fact that you might have a alcohol use disorder?
In this episode, Vic and Hame dive into some of the factors they blamed in the past and explore healthier and more efficient ways to get sober!
