The Centre for the International Politics of Conflict, Rights and Justice at SOAS, in association with the London Transitional Justice Network, hosted Ambassador Stephen Rapp, Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes in the US Office of Global Criminal Justice at the Department of State from 2009-2015, and before this, Chief Prosecutor of the Special Court for Sierra Leone where he was responsible for the prosecution of former Liberian President Charles Taylor.
