Refugee Week 2014 - Celebrating Sanctuary

Each year, during Refugee Week UK, Celebrating Sanctuary London supports and showcases music and arts by and about refugees and migrants. The programme at this year's CSL Southbank was part of a wider programme of events and it included a number of collaborations from Rafiki Jazz and Somali Party Southall to Afrikan Boy and this year's CSL commissions. The two commissions brought together Haymanot Tesfa with Katy Carr and the Aviators and Jewan Mohammad with Gabby Young and Other Animals. This podcast brings the sounds from the day and interviews with the featured artists.
