The Hell Hole Trail isn’t extremely difficult but there is one section that is really hard. Jimmy claims it is as difficult as the hardest part on little sluice on the Rubicon Trail. He wheeled down to this section five years ago but had to turn around due to time and the buddy he was with wasn’t going to make it any further.
