Show Notes

In this episode host Belle Osvath, CFP®, interviews Dan Moisand, CFP®, the current Chair of the CFP Board. They talk about the Board's latest initiatives and their recent expansion to include a 501c6 organization. Dan identifies the reasoning behind the shift in nonprofit status and how it allows them to introduce more people to the CFP designation, both prospective title holders and the public at large.

They also discuss the changing demographics of CFP holders and how the Board is working to shift those numbers to more accurately reflect national demographics with an ultimate goal of helping more people with their finances.

If you are a CFP holder or are just curious about the larger role the CFP Board plays in the profession. This is the show for you.
