Trevor Walraven spent nearly 18 years in prison for a murder he committed when he was 14 years old. He was released after going through Oregon’s “Second Look” process, which required him to show he had taken responsibility for his crime and demonstrated "outstanding reformation." He now advocates for criminal justice reform with a special focus on youth, who he argues are more likely to reform and deserve meaningful opportunities when released. She’s a trained forensic investigator and relies on a mix of research and empathy to give the victims a voice and bring criminals to justice.
