Sammy is a little afraid of spiders! But Sue decided to help him and prove that even spiders can be very cute!
So, today we have a very important task - to help Sammy conquer his fear! And the best way to do this is to make something cute out of the thing he is afraid of! That's why we're gonna make Lucas, the cutest spider in the world! Lucas the Spider was created by animator Joshua Slice. We feel really inspired by this character.
To make the toy, we need faux fur, suede, and a pattern. First, we will cut out parts of our future spider. And there will be a lot of them! Do you remember that spiders have many legs? After that, we'll just sew all the pieces together. Guys, don't forget about safety when working with sharp objects. To make the legs flexible, we will put a wire inside. To make the toy soft, we put some polyester batting. And the final touch is the eyes! Lucas looks even more realistic with them!
