A long time ago the Emperor of China loved to garden. He was getting old and needed to choose someone to become the new emperor. He decided to let the flowers decide who it should be. The Emperor called all the children to him and gave them each a seed to grow. They would each take a seed and come back in a year with their flowers. Ping, a small boy, was very excited and couldn’t wait to show the Emperor the beautiful flower he was going to grow. Ping worked very hard all year to get his seed to grow. It is Peacock’s birthday and he is very excited to have all his friends come to his party. Eric the dolphin loved to play with his two sisters but he often got into trouble. One day he got a playful, wriggly sort of feeling in his stomach and thought it was just the sort of day for some mischief. He swam off to the giant squid’s garden to look for sea slugs. The giant squid was very bad tempered and didn’t like dolphins in his garden. What will happen to Eric?

A story about a little boy named Jack. Jack is on his way to the market to sell their last cow when he meets someone who offers him magic beans as a trade. Jack happily takes the beans and runs home to show his mother. She is not very happy.

One day a little girl was taking a walk through the woods when she came to a house. She knocked on the door but no one was home so she went inside to look around. She found some food, some chairs, and a few beds. What would happen when the owners of the house came home and found her in their home?

It was a quiet, peaceful morning in the jungle until a loud noise rattled the tree tops and shook the ground. Was it an earthquake? No, it wasn’t. Poor elephant has a cold so his friends gather around to try and help him feel better.

Winnie and Wilbur were having a party and so they went to bed very late. Wilbur was snoring and Winnie could not sleep. The next day Winnie was very tired and when it was time to clean up, everything went wrong. Winnie wished she could fly away from all the noise and then the trouble began.

One day, Felix's speed finally helped the herd, and they never asked him to slow down again. Buster Bunny and his friends are having a dress up day at school. Their teacher has brought costumes for them to dress up as people who lived a long time ago. They need to choose a costume and then make something to share with the class. They’re all excited to get started.

The lazy giant is very mean and lazy and no one wants to work for him. One day he finds some children and carries them to his castle so they can serve him and take care of him. The children do everything for the mean, lazy giant until one rainy day.

Winnie the witch is getting ready for her birthday. She sends out invitations, makes a dress for herself, and prepares the yard for her party. She wants to have a surprise at her party but she ends up getting an unexpected surprise.

The moon is crying because she cannot see her reflection in the sea. The cloud, thunder and lightening, and others offer her suggestions to try.

A baby is born and just as the parents are going to give him a name a wise man arrives at their door telling him their son is very special and they should not name him yet. He is called nameless until he decides he needs a name and sets out to get one.

The witch has an ugly daughter who is always looking in the mirror trying to make herself more beautiful. She tries everything she can think of. One day her mom asks her to look after the cauldron while she is gone. The witches daughter finds out where true beauty comes from.

Daffodellia is a fairy who loves painting flowers. She travels around at nighttime painting all the beautiful flowers for the people to see. One night she hears crying coming from a very bare place that has no flowers and goes to see who is crying.

Raggedy Ann and Fido are all tucked in for the night but Fido cannot sleep. He feels that something is going to happen so he gets Raggedy Ann up to see what is happening.

Louise is dressed and ready to go out coasting on the hill when she hears her Mother calling. She knows her mom is going to tell her she needs to clean up before she goes to play. Louise slowly gets undressed and goes upstairs to clean up but something happens before she can finish.

There once was a rich king who loved his kingdom. He threw parties and celebrations that went on for days. After all the parties the king could not get to sleep. For days and days he couldn’t sleep so he offered half of his kingdom to anyone who could help him get to sleep.

It was Springtime and Mr. Possom was awake and very hungry. He didn’t have any food so he decided to visit his friends to eat some of theirs. His visit to Mr. Bear’s house does not go quite as planned and he gets a big fright.

The Good Sea Monster is a story about a sea monster that all the sailors think is scary. One night after a storm the sea monster goes out to see if anyone needs any help. He finds a little boy floating on a plank and takes him to the island. What will happen to the boy?
