A Tale for Halloween is a story about a young boy named Antone and his sister Babette and their life in the woods. They are happy children but their parents wish Antone could go to school. They all work hard to help and one day when Antone is carving Jack-O-Lanterns to sell, Babette decides she would like to have one for her Halloween celebration. They save the biggest pumpkin for their party but when they go out to start the party things don’e go quite as they had planned.
