The Slamfest Podcast brings the premier rock concert pregaming experience from the parking lot to the podcasting airwaves. Episode 82 - Brad travels back to Kansas City to see a great triple bill with Matt and Mike. The two co-headliners were together for the first time in 20 years and they had a very special guest opening the shows. Scorpions, Deep Purple and Dio visited Sandstone Amphitheatre in Bonner Springs, KS during the summer, 2002. Matt joins Brad on the episode to recap the festivities and the show. For the Band on the Bill Spotlight, they rewind back to 1984 and discuss the albums released that year by the three bands on the bill, including ranking them. After a Slamfest Tip of the Week, they are faced with a "Which Side are you On?" - Side 1 or 2 off of Dio's first solo studio album, Holy Diver, from 1983.
