They talk about how they wished the season focused on the main love interests, Penelope and Colin, and did not get lost in all its side plots. Their conversation touches on how Bridgerton does hint at a lot of progressive ideas yet how the show under-delivers, they praise how the show handles consent, and they talk about their love of costuming. Of course, Emily and Olivia dive into more deep conversations around womanhood and conventional beauty standards as well as daydreaming about the day they receive an innovation to a ball.
