Teen Abandoned in Woods by Online Predator
A 14-year-old girl, who had been communicating online with a 32-year-old man, was abandoned in a freezing forest by him on Christmas Eve. The man, Michael Harris, who presented himself as a caring friend, lured the girl to a remote location and left her there. After a harrowing ordeal, she was rescued on Christmas morning, while Harris was arrested at his home during his Christmas celebration. The incident highlights the dangers of online predators and the importance of parental monitoring of children's online interactions.
