On this episode we are joined by Kristen Hazeltine, President and CEO of Show Me Christian County. If you have lived in the area for any length of time you know that for years Christian County has ranked among the fastest growing counties in the state. With growth comes both opportunity and challenge. Show Me Christian County was founded in 2017 to meet the growing needs and represent the interests of the seven municipalities that make up the county; Billions, Clever, Fremont Hills, Highlandville, Nixa, Ozark, Sparta and the Village of Saddlesbrooke. Their primary responsibility is to advance economic development. Kristen talks about some big wins for the communities she serves. She also talks about the challenges of housing shortages, infrastructure inequities, etc. Krisen was on the Springfield Chamber’s community visit to NWA so we continue our discussion about regionalism from her point of view. She was at the table early on when the conversation started about LORE. She and her organization understands that when one wins we all win. Listen in to hear about all the greatness happening in CC.
