Meet Mike, the founder of World Mentoring Academy
"World Mentoring Academy (WMA)
Is a non-profit educational project offering massive open online courses MOOC. The organization was founded in April 2010 as Mybandisthebest.com and changed to World Mentoring Academy in June 2010 by American engineer Michael Williams "HomelessEducator" a graduate of California State University, Long Beach. With the stated mission of "Providing open education to the World", WMA offers free access to a collection of more than 20,000 online lectures from over 840 university & educational courses, teaching K-12, Trade School, undergraduate & graduate courses.
In 2010, World Mentoring Academy began using an open community Learning Management System (LMS) using available open courseware(OCW) materials from over 100 universities and educational institutions."
