Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and on a corner of the altar desolating abominations, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall be poured on the desolator. Today we talk about the strait of Hormuz and what it will look like in the event that it doesn’t open back up soon. Regardless, we are already in a bad situation and the global impact on distribution chain supply has already been disrupted. It’s only a matter of time before it hits the western countries. The only reason the west hasn’t felt it, is because we are running on reserves and that is projected to be about a 30-ish day supply of oil. Once these reserves deplete, your local grocer will stop getting shipments of food, the trucks that deliver the goods will be Parked and you will be hungry. Unless you are storing some RIGHT NOW, you will be going hungry. I hope we are wrong and the whole thing gets sorted out and everything goes back to normal. But it’s already too late for that. We know what the Bible says about the days we are living in and I think it’s say to say, prepare. There is no rapture that is going to save you from the great tribulation. It’s only your relationship with God that is going to get you through what is coming. I’ve been talking about this for years and even Ryan has been speaking about this in his ministry for a year and a half or so. This week, we are preparing to attend the NRB in Nashville, Tennessee, and we have interviews with some big names, so I hope you tune in to the podcasts, where they and many other updates will take place live as they happen. In early 2025 I was researching the Holy days and happened across a video of Joe at a speaking event talking about 2020 and the high possibility of famine and pandemic way back in 2008. This caught my attention as we all know what happened in 2020 and this Joseph Dumond was prophesying this years before it happened. Article written by Sombra Wilson. I’m taking a class with Simonette Cherepanov from sevenlampwellness.com called Back To Eden – Renewing Your Mind. It’s a 21 day journey using cycles of 7 to take captive our thoughts and reset our body, mind and spirit to what it was designed to be from the Garden. I really love this program. It is so similar to what Joe teaches us about cycles of seven on a macroscopic level. Where he’s teaching us about Sabbatical Years and Jubilee Years and Millennial days, what Simi is teaching us is about sets of 7 days to deal with the inner thoughts. It’s a microscopic look at what Yehovah’s plan is for us. You know how Joe so often talks about Matthew 24 and about how we have to have oil in our lamps. We usually say the oil is Mitzvot. It’s the keeping of the commandments. You have to have a history of keeping these commandments to have a quantity of oil in your lamp, you can’t just go buy it at the last minute. Well this oil, like olive oil, it comes from the crushing of the fruit, the pulp of the olive flesh. In the same way, when we are crushed, when we go through those trials, those tests, we prove, or fail to prove, that we have learned the message of the commandments and know how to live it all out. A teacher can teach us torah, but until we start living it ourselves, we have not yet done these mitzvot. This oil is based on our own relationship, this intimacy we have developed ourselves. It can’t be bought, nor inherited. We sometimes say “God doesn’t have grandchildren – just because your parents were believers doesn’t make you a child of God. – You have to choose to be a child of God yourself. It’s YOUR choice. So you have to develop your own intimacy. So Simi is teaching us this class, and we sit and learn from her for about an hour or so a day, but then we have to go do the work ourselves. Let me share with you a little of the class. Every day we start the session with Thanksgiving, Praise and Worship. Let me give you an example: Abba Father, I’m so thankful that you are using me to share with Ryan and the podcast audience all the things you are teaching me. I’m thankful for the direction you are leading me in to heal that defenseless little girl within me and teach me that I don’t need to defend myself, for You are my Buckler and Shield. You hold me in the palm of Your Hand and you defend me under the shelter of Your Wings. I’m so thankful that the fear and anger I have felt is dissipating, that I don’t need to have the anxiety anymore, that the rage I once felt which led me to sin in my anger has all but vanished and now I am comfortable patiently waiting for You do defend me in what ever way You choose to resolve my conflicts. I Praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I praise You for You keep your promises, even when I fail to keep mine. I praise You because You covenant covers me, and your mercy gives me time to learn to obey and your grace guides me back to the righteous path. I Worship You with my whole body, mind and spirit. I come in supplication under Your authority, to rule and reign in my life. I worship you with singing and dancing, with every movement of my body, with every chore I perform, I do it for Your glory. I pray that I reflect Your image as I daily serve you my King.The next step in the program is to do a 7 minute breathing exercise. The rhythm of the breathing goes like this, we breath in through the nose, from the belly, breath in for 5 seconds. Then you hold the breath for 5 seconds, then you release the breath slowly through the nose for 10 seconds, really emptying the lungs. Then the pattern begins again, breathe in, hold, release. We do this rhythm for 7 minutes, there are 3 rounds per minute, so 7 minutes means 21 cycle of this breathing pattern – you’ll see how 21 plays into this program in a few minutes, and at the end of the 7 minutes, with empty lungs, you hold your breath as long as you can. While we’re doing this breathing, we listen to a recording Simi made which reinforces what’s going on inside us while we’re doing the breathing. Let me read through this 7 minutes and see if you can follow along with the breathing while I read her script. A seven minute cellular reset designed into the human body by God. Breath is a gift from God. Rest is a command. Renewal is a promise. There is nothing spiritual about the breathing pattern itself. It is simply a tool God placed within our physiology. What is spiritual is what we choose to focus on during the stillness. Our focus is gratitude, worship, scripture, identity in Messiah, the renewal of our mind. As Paul writes in Romans 12:2, be transformed by the renewing of your mind. This practice simply creates the biological conditions that make the renewal easier for the brain to receive. We will use the patterns in the back to Eden Renewing Your Mind book in order to strengthen our inner self to our father’s original design by practicing what some call CB

Today we’ve got a special guest. Someone who has been studying the Bible for a long time. Bobby Barth, Came on to share his testimony with us and it does not disappoint! I always love hearing what led people to come to the Yeshua. The crux of Bobby’s message is simply, come to the Father as a child would come, and do the things that please Him. It is truly amazing how God takes us and molds us into His image through various trials. Kay Beards testimony is nothing short of that, and I sincerely enjoyed our conversation and I hope you do too! Kay begins by grounding her testimony in Ezekiel 34:24–30, emphasizing the New Covenant promise where God writes His Torah on the hearts and minds of Israel and causes His people to walk in His ways. She was raised Southern Baptist from birth, deeply involved in church life and programs throughout her childhood. As a young girl, she participated in Girls Auxiliary (GA’s), a structured discipleship and missions program focused on scripture memorization, evangelism, and spiritual discipline. The GA program included multi-year progression, scripture memorization, examinations, ceremonies, and symbolic rewards, culminating in a formal coronation as “queen.” Though she didn’t fully appreciate it at the time, the intense scripture memorization left a lasting imprint and still informs her biblical knowledge and apologetics today. Looking back, she recognizes that God was working in her life early, even when she was unaware of it. Like many, she went through rebellious teenage years, made mistakes, and later returned to God as an adult. After marrying and having children, she felt a strong conviction to teach her children God’s Word, but struggled because she realized she didn’t fully understand Scripture herself. This led her to homeschool her children, during which she was introduced to Messianic teaching through other homeschoolers. She learned about a Messianic ministry led by Joe Good, which sparked questions about whether believers were meant to live differently than traditional Christianity taught. Her journey into Torah pursuance began with rejecting Christmas, recognizing it was neither biblical nor the Messiah’s birthday. As she researched further, she encountered the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) and became convinced she needed to observe it. Despite resistance from her husband—who initially thought she had “lost her mind”—she became determined to obey what she was learning. While still attending a Baptist church and leading Bible studies, she invited people from multiple denominations to celebrate biblical feasts with her. Is Israel really Israel and are the Jews really the Jews? I think that question alone is very loaded and a lot of study of history is needed to even in an elementary way, Provide the answer to that question. Now this question is coming up a lot, especially among Christian believers who are for one reason or another, have taken it upon themselves to want to disband the narrative that Israel is a legitimate country or that the bloodline of the Jews, as we know them today are completely an utterly illegitimate people and have no links and ties to the biblical Hebrew people. So, first of all, I don’t want there to be any guise, entering in to this discussion, that I am persuaded, that all arguments that suggest that Israel is not Israel, and that the Jews are not the Jews; Those claims are unfounded and completely and utterly false. It’s nothing but a strategy from the enemy to take our eyes off of what is important in our spiritual walk with Christ and some people say “well the Jews are sinners!”. “These are sinful people” “how can they still be God‘s chosen people” and my answer to that, would be rather my response to that, would be, they are God‘s chosen people in as much as the same way we as Christians consider ourselves to be God‘s chosen people. So it’s about the covenant. It’s about the promise. Because God made a covenant with Israel! So what benefit do Christians have exactly in de-legitimizing the nation of Israel if it’s none other than to just simply be hateful. Because here’s the thing, according to the scriptures, in the New Testament scriptures, we are not replacing Israel, but rather brought into Israel by faith! Those that believe in Christ, we are brought into Israel by faith, we’re not replacing Israel by Faith that’s a ridiculous concept which is completely unbiblical on every account! Roman’s here gives us the answers from the New Testament. We don’t have to go to the prophets to get this answer; The Remnant of Israel Rom 11:1 I say then, Did not God put away His people? Let it not be said! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. Rom 11:2 God did not thrust out His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture said in Elijah, how he pleaded with God against Israel, saying, Rom 11:3 “Lord, they killed Your prophets and dug down Your altars, and I am left alone, and they seek my life.” Rom 11:4 But what does the Divine answer say to him? “I have reserved to Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” Rom 11:5 Even so then, also in this present time a remnant according to the election of grace has come into being. Rom 11:6 But if by grace, then it is no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it is of works, then it is no more of grace; otherwise work is no more work. Rom 11:7 What then? Israel has not obtained that which it seeks, but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened Rom 11:8 even as it is written, “God gave to them a spirit of slumber, eyes not seeing, and ears not hearing” until this day. Rom 11:9 And David said, “Let their table become for a snare and a trap and a stumbling block and a recompense to them. Rom 11:10 Let their eyes be darkened so that they may not see, and their back always bowing.” Gentiles Grafted In Rom 11:11 I say then, Did they not stumble that they fall? Let it not be! But by their slipping away came salvation to the nations, to provoke them to jealousy. Rom 11:12 But if their slipping away is the riches of the world, and their default is the riches of thenations, how much more their fullness? Rom 11:13 For I speak to you, the nations; since I am the apostle of the nations, I glorify my ministry; Rom 11:14 if by any means I may provoke those who are my flesh to jealousy, and might save some of them. Rom 11:15 For if their casting away is thereconciling of the world, what is the reception except life from the dead? Here’s the thing. No one, and I mean, no one believed that Yehovah was more than one at any time up until the Nicene Creed time period. The trinity doctrine comes from syncretism with babylonian mystery religion which was introduced by Simon Magus. The Simon Magus doctrine is what eventually morphs into Gnosticism and eventually Catholicism. So without addressing any scriptures, we already have a solid foundation for an understanding of what not to believe; by that I am referring to the confusion of the trinity. Yehovah also explains it to us in His name. Yeshua means Yehovah Saves. No one else saved but HIM. Why? because Yehovah stepped out of heaven and became flesh. John so eloquently puts it, The Word was both with God and was God. There aren’t two beings here, God is still One. Yeshua said, have you been with me so long that you don’t know that if you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father also? In Revelations 1:8 we have Jesus saying, I am the Alpha and Omega, Beginning and end. Which is the biblical definition of the name Yehovah. Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. I can go on and on but it’s the simple answer that is usually the answer. My first premise of discarding the trinity is on the basis that I’m not Catholic and the trinity doctrine is mystery religion doctrine. So, that’s first. Second, how is it that no one believed that God is more than one until the NT is written. It’s like all of the sudden when you turn from Malachi to Matthew God has now split Himself into three “persons” and adopted a “merciful” mindset? Malachi 3:6 says that I am Yehovah and I change not. That’s a very important thing to understand as one turns the page to delve into the NT scriptures, But the disciples weren’t confused by this at all, as they understood the Torah and believed that Yehovah is Yeshua. But after they died the non-Torah keepers who were being indoctrinated by the Simon Magus Mystery cult left a vacuum in the religious world and that eventually became Christianity as we know it. What should shock everyone, is the fact that we are 2000+ years after the death of Yeshua and people who do not claim to be Catholic are still subscribing to their Nicene doctrines. Isa 45:15 Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. Isa 45:16 They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols. Isa 45:17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end. Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else. He is all there IS and there is none else… Explicit. I’ll leave you with this one. Isa 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Article written by Sombra Wilson   Moses begins to write Deuteronomy, and by the end of it, Moses has died and the Children of Israel need to continue on into the Promised Land without Him.The Greek word Deuteronomy means Second Law or a repetition of the law. In Hebrew this book is called Devarim, which means “Words”. These are the final words of Moses, the final speeches he makes to Israel that they may keep the commandments of Yehovah. Last week we mentioned inheritance, and how the children of the concubine do not get an inheritance, how a woman without a covenant has no protection or provision in the case of the man’s death or if he leaves her. In Deuteronomy 1, the children of Israel are being offered their inheritance following their receiving the covenant at Mount Sinai. Moses is speaking to the Young Nation of Israel on the East side of the Jordan. They are about to enter and take possession of their inheritance, but Moses reminds them of what happened over the last 40 years and reminds them to trust their Bridegroom and not fear, not fail to keep the covenant. Deuteronomy 1:1-8 The Command to Leave Horeb [1] These are the words that Moses spoke to all Israel beyond the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab. [2] It is eleven days’ journey from Horeb by the way of Mount Seir to Kadesh-barnea. [3] In the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses spoke to the people of Israel according to all that the LORD had given him in commandment to them, [4] after he had defeated Sihon the king of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, who lived in Ashtaroth and in Edrei. [5] Beyond the Jordan, in the land of Moab, Moses undertook to explain this law, saying, [6] “The LORD our God said to us in Horeb, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain. [7] Turn and take your journey, and go to the hill country of the Amorites and to all their neighbors in the Arabah, in the hill country and in the lowland and in the Negeb and by the seacoast, the land of the Canaanites, and Lebanon, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates. [8] See, I have set the land before you. Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their offspring after them.’All that you see in this map was supposed to be the inheritance for the Nation of Israel, from the where they were in the South near the Red Sea, to the Mediteranean sea on the west all the way to the Euphrates in the east, to the mountains in Lebanon in the north. It should have taken them only 11 days to journey to their inheritance, but because the spies brought back a bad report, and they trusted in the evil report rather than in Yehovah’s word, they were then given a consequence of 40 years in the wilderness for this lack of faith. They would die in the wilderness, but their children would still gain an inheritance. Number 14:20-23 Then the LORD said, “I have pardoned, according to your word. 21 But truly, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD, 22 none of the men who have seen my glory and my signs that I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and yet have put me to the test these ten times and have not obeyed my voice, 23 shall see the land that I swore to give to their fathers. And none of those who despised me shall see it. Number 14:28-35 28 Say to them, ‘As I live, declares the LORD, what you have said in my hearing I will do to you: 29 your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness, and of all your number, listed in the census from twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against me, 30 not one shall come into the land where I swore that I would make you dwell, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun. 31 But your little ones, who you said would become a prey, I will bring in, and they shall know the land that you have rejected. 32 But as for you, your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness. 33 And your children shall be shepherds in the wilderness forty years and shall suffer for your faithlessness, until the last of your dead bodies lies in the wilderness. 34 According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, a year for each day, you shall bear your iniquity forty years, and you shall know my displeasure.’ 35 I, the LORD, have spoken. Surely this will I do to all this wicked congregation who are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall come to a full end, and there they shall die.” This inheritance of land symbolizes God’s covenant. He is faithful and gives good gifts, a tangible blessing that will be a home, in perpetuity, enduring provision. It is a home where Yehovah can continue their relationship with His people. It’s a sign of God’s love and promise, but requires obedience for the fulfillment of the covenant; we forfeit this inhe

We’re going to stay right here on this topic, because this episode brings us to the conclusion of our discussion on rabbinic authority—and, honestly, to what may be the most serious implication of everything we’ve covered so far. If someone insists on full submission to rabbinic authority—over the calendar, Sabbath boundaries, Torah interpretation—then we have to ask the unavoidable question: where does this leave Yeshua Himself? What we begin to see is not a minor disagreement, but an unavoidable collision. Over the last few episodes, we’ve talked about the Noahide Laws. We’ve talked about rabbinic authority. We’ve talked about the idea that we must wait for rabbinic approval before observing the calendar or making any changes. But when you follow those assumptions all the way out, you have to ask: what does this actually imply? That’s what we’re going to chase down today. And I want to say this carefully, respectfully, and honestly. Rabbinic authority does not merely disagree with Yeshua. It explicitly rejects Him. Once you see that clearly, the authority question can no longer be avoided or softened. This is not an attack on rabbis as people. But if you submit yourself to rabbinic authority as binding, and you believe in Yeshua, you place yourself on a collision course. There’s no way around that. We can’t soften this message without losing the truth of it. Here’s the tension that’s been turning the wheels for me over the last few episodes:If you submit to rabbinic authority, you must ultimately reject Torah as written.But if you submit to mainstream Christianity, you also reject Torah. So on one side, Torah is rejected in favor of rabbinic authority.On the other side, Torah is rejected in favor of Christian tradition. Either way, Torah loses. That’s an oxymoron—yet most believers have never actually examined it. And here’s another assumption that needs to be challenged. Many believers assume that rabbinic sources are either silent about Yeshua, or that they simply view Him as a misunderstood teacher or a marginal historical figure. That assumption is incorrect. The foundational texts of rabbinic authority do not treat Yeshua as misunderstood. They preserve explicit judgments against Him. These are not obscure footnotes. These are part of the authoritative rabbinic record itself. Today, we’re going to read some of those records directly—starting with the Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 43a—where Yeshua is accused of practicing sorcery. And it’s important to understand: this accusation functions as an outright prohibition against believing in Him as Messiah. Once you see this, the authority question can no longer be ignored. Welcome to the SightedMoon Podcast.I’m your host, Ryan Nall, and I’m joined again today by Joseph Dumond, author and founder of SightedMoon.com. Joe, it’s great to have you back. In our last episode, we discussed the question of authority—specifically how the biblical calendar was changed from one based on observable, agricultural signs in the land of Israel, such as the ripening of barley and the sighting of the new moon, to the fixed rabbinic calendar used today. We talked about how rabbinic authorities disbanded the original calendar system, usurped the authority of the Sanhedrin, and replaced it with a highly complex calculated calendar. Joe also shared compelling archaeological evidence supporting this historical shift, including his research on the Zoar tombstones. Today, we want to take this discussion further, because the issue of authority doesn’t stop with the calendar. Rabbinic authorities often argue that believers must submit to their authority, appealing to passages in Judges and other scriptures to justify this claim. But if we accept that argument—if we say we must submit to rabbinic authority on how the law is interpreted and practiced—then we need to ask an important question: what else are we agreeing to when we say that? Authority is not something you can selectively submit to. If you accept it, you accept its rulings in full. One of the clearest implications of this authority structure is the claim that there are two separate legal systems: one for Jews by birth, and another for Gentiles. This distinction is expressed through what are commonly known as the Seven Noahide Laws, which are presented as the full extent of Gentile obligation before God. Those laws are: Prohibition of idolatry Prohibition of blasphemy Prohibition of murder Prohibition of sexual immorality Prohibition of theft Prohibition of eating flesh from a living animal The requirement to establish courts of justice According to rabbinic teaching, Gentiles are forbidden from going beyond these laws. That means calendar observance, Sabbath keeping, and biblical festivals are explicitly excluded. In Sanhedrin 58b, the Talmud states that a Gentile who keeps the Sabbath is guilty of a capital offense. The reasoning given is that the Sabbath is a covenantal sign reserved exclusively for Israel, and that a Gentile who observes it is intruding into a covenant that does not belong to them. This raises a serious problem. If someone from another nation desires to serve the God of Israel—if they want to obey His commandments—you would think that would be welcomed. Instead, this system treats that desire as trespassing, as crossing into forbidden territory. What’s even more striking is that there is no biblical passage that supports this position. Maimonides, one of the most respected rabbinic authorities in history, writes in Laws of Kings and Wars, chapter 10, section 9, that Gentiles are not permitted to observe the Sabbath or establish festivals for themselves. He states that Gentiles must restrict themselves to the Seven Noahide Laws and may not innovate religious practices or perform commandments not specifically commanded to them—implying that the Sabbath and festivals are for Jews alone. This means the debate over the calendar is not an abstract theological issue. It has real, concrete implications. If someone says, “You must submit to rabbinic authority regarding the calendar,” then consistency demands that they also accept the rest of that authority—including the ruling that Gentiles must not keep the Sabbath, must not observe the festivals, and must not follow Israel’s calendar. That’s the other side of the coin. What becomes clear is that this system does not function as an entry point into obedience, but as a ceiling. Gentiles are allowed to obey only so far—and no further. They are not permitted to grow into deeper covenantal obedience. So the question becomes unavoidable:When two authorities claim opposite things, which one are you going to follow? That’s where we’ll continue the conversation today. Article Written by Sombra Wilson As I begin to write today, people around the world are celebrating Christmas. A parallel was brought to my attention, that keeping Christmas is similar to the of the Golden Calf incident. The Children of Israel were trying to worship Yehovah, but because they did not have a depth of knowledge, a depth of intimacy with Yehovah, they resorted to what they knew from Egypt on how to worship deity. The Egyptians worshipped their god Hathor with revelry, so they sought to worship Yehovah in the same way. Their intention was pure, they truly wanted to worship Yehovah, who had rescued them from the slavery in Egypt, but now they were at the base of Mount Sinai, and had cut the betrothal covenant with Yehovah, and were at a loss for what to do given their leader, Moses, had gone up the mountain and not returned. They had seen the fire on top the mountain, maybe they thought he had been burned up like a sacrifice. They looked to Aaron to lead them in worship, and Aaron did what they asked. Let’s read the telling of this story. Exodus 32:1-6 When the people saw that Moses delayed to come down from the mountain, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron and said to him, “Up, make us gods who shall go before us. As for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.” 2 So Aaron said to them, “Take off the rings of gold that are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.” 3 So all the people took off the rings of gold that were in their ears and brought them to Aaron. 4 And he received the gold from their hand and fashioned it with a graving tool and made a golden[a] calf. And they said, “These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt!” 5 When Aaron saw this, he built an altar before it. And Aaron made a proclamation and said, “Tomorrow shall be a feast to the LORD. ” 6 And they rose up early the next day and offered burnt offerings and brought peace offerings. And the people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play. Though they had been chosen, hopped over; though they had passed through the Red Sea, seen their enemies die, their past slavery was dead, and they had been lifted up like firstfruit on the other side of the Red Sea, as if resurrected to a new life of freedom; they still had bitterness and needed to learn to apply the Tree of Life, the Torah to their lives that they may produce good fruit. And even so, here at Mount Sinai, they’ve been betrothed to Yehovah, and they still do not understand the relationship and to whom they have been betrothed. This makes me think of Jacob, when he was to marry Rachel, and found himself tricked on his wedding day. Please read Genesis 29:15-26 15 Then Laban said to Jacob, “Because you are my kinsman, should you therefore serve me for nothing? Tell me, what shall your wages be?” 16 Now Laban had two daughters. The name of the older was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel. 17 Leah’seyes were weak,[a] but Rachel was beautiful in form and appearance. 18 Jacob loved Rachel. And he said, “I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel.” 19 Laban said, “It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to any other man; stay with me.” 20 So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed to him but a few days because of the love he had for her. 21 Then Jacob said to Laban, “Give me my wife that I may go in to her, for my time is completed.” 22 So Laban gathered together all the people of the place and made a feast. 23 But in the evening he took his daughter Leah and brought her to Jacob, and he went in to her. 24 (Laban gave[b] his female servant Zilpah to his daughter Leah to be her servant.) 25 And in the morning, behold, it was Leah! And Jacob said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? Did I not serve with you for Rachel? Why then have you deceived me?” 26 Laban said, “It is not so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn. We too, as a Christian society, have been tricked into being betrothed to a different Bridegroom. If we don’t know Who Yeshua truly is, we are deceived into being the bride of another Christ. We have allowed the influences of the world to tell us who our Betrothed is, and we have seen and understood Him through a veil of deceit. Ask yourself, are you betrothed to the Hebrew Yeshua, who is defined by the Torah, Identified through it and came to fulfill it? Or are you betrothed to the Greek Jesus, of whom we are told, did away with the law, and died so we have no need to be under the law, no need for that Sabbath and those feast days, for He made all things new, even His day of rest changed to Sunday. What kind of deceit have we been deceived with? Matthew 23:1-7 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, 2 “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat, 3 so do and observe whatever they tell you, but not the

  I want to preface this by saying, the purpose of this episode is not meant to condemn the Rabbis; but rather to challenge that status quo on the topic of the Biblical calendar presented to us in Exodus. In this episode Joe and I discuss how the Hillel calendar was installed and then tweaked over the course of hundreds of years. Fast forward to our current day, if you even hint at challenging the Rabbis on the calendar front then you are guilty of disobeying their authority, supposedly given to them in Deut 17:9. This verse has been wildly miss-appropriated to give the Rabbis authority that trumps the very Bible itself. If this authority is granted them then they almost of unilateral authority in almost all areas pertaining to religion and daily life. This is why Jesus challenged this idiology when it was in its infancy in the first century and ultimately was the reason why they killed him. Tradition wins at the end of the day, and what we were handed was a calendar that is based on tradition rather than Biblial truths. This is really why God has raised up a man like Joseph Dumond to dig through the annuls of history to prove this work with archeological evidence combined with scripture in order to help us get back to Yehovah’s true calendar. God’s calendar is based on observations and not pre-calculations and that it the first thing we have understand. When the Barely is ripe (Aviv) then you know that you are in the first month of the year base on Deut 16 and Exodus 12:2 Deu 16:1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. Exo 12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. The Hillel calendar ends the year at Tishri, which is the seventh month of the barley calendar. So, how are we to reconcile keeping this? If we begin the year in Tishri we are disobeying the commandment of God! Do the Rabbis know better than Yehovah? Certainly not! The point of this conversation is not to condemn the Rabbis but rather post a rebuttal to the traditions that has been handed down to us without question. We should all be asking ourselves these why we keep a calendar based off of assumptions and man made calculations. But here is what came to me as Joe and I were discussing this, is that in Judaism they are denying the Bible by obeying the Rabbis and disregarding the barely calendar; And in Christianity, they are denying the Bible by saying that the Laws and Commandments of God have passed away, based on their interpretive traditions. Both Christians and Jews are guilty of deny the Bible based on tradition. This is the very thing that Jesus was trying to help us to understand and yet, men on both sides of the fence are denying Him based on tradition. Let’s get back the Bible folks and understand that God gave us a calendar to Observe, to look, to go outside and touch grass! As we get farther into the technological age we are seeing how detached we are from knowing the times and the seasons. Now we are dependent on our phones to tell us what month/day it is. So, how does anyone feel secure in the expected coming of the Messiah? The lazy approach is, oh well, we’ll just wait for Him to return before we figure this stuff out. But that’s not what the Bible says. The Bibles tells us that He is not coming back until the restoration of all things. Act 3:20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Act 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Mat 17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. Elijah must first come and restore all things before the return of our Messiah. This is the entire purpose of the two witnesses in Revelation. You cannot understand this, unless you understand the times and the season detailed in the Torah (Books of Moses). There are many things that were omitted in the New Testament, because the early church were widely aware of the times and seasons, therefore there was no need to write about it. Paul tells us this in 1 Thessalonians. 1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. But it won’t take them like a thief in the night, why? Because they are fully aware of the times and the seasons. 1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Zion’s Coming Salvation Isa 62:1 For Zion’s sake I will not be silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until its righteousness goes out as brightness, and her salvation as a burning lamp. Isa 62:2 And the nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you will be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah will name. Isa 62:3 You also will be a crown of glory in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. Isa 62:4 You will no more be called Forsaken; nor will your land any more be called Desolate; but you will be called My Delight is in her, and your land, Married; for Jehovah delights in you, and your land is married. Isa 62:5 For as a young man marries a virgin, so will your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so will your God rejoice over you. Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who will not always be silent all the day nor all the night; you who remember Jehovah, do not be silent. Isa 62:7 And give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Isa 62:8 Jehovah has sworn by His right hand, and by the arm of His strength, Surely I will no more give your grain to be food for your enemies; and the sons of strangers will not drink your wine for which you have labored. Isa 62:9 But its gatherers will eat it and praise Jehovah; and they who collected it will drink it in My holy courts. Isa 62:10 Pass! Pass through the gates; prepare the way of the people. Raise up! Raise up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a banner for the peoples. Isa 62:11 Behold, Jehovah has sent a message to the end of the earth, Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes. Behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him. Isa 62:12 And they will call them, The Holy People, The Redeemed of Jehovah; and you will be called, Sought Out, a city not forsaken. What is the Difference Between The Wheat and the tares? In the parable of the wheat and the tares (Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43 MKJV), Yehshua uses a real agricultural reality to illustrate a profound spiritual truth. Wheat (good seed sown by the Son of Man) produces full, heavy grains that bow the stalk under their weight—valuable, harvestable seed that becomes bread and sustains life. Tares (darnel, a poisonous weed sown by the enemy) look almost identical to wheat while growing, but when mature, their heads remain upright and their “seeds” are small, black, lightweight, and worthless for food (often toxic if ground into flour). Mat 13:24 He put out another parable to them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. Mat 13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel among the wheat and went his way. Mat 13:26 But when the blade had sprung up and had produced fruit, then the darnel also appeared. Mat 13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said to him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then where have the darnel come from? Mat 13:28 He said to them, An enemy has done this. The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and gather them up? Mat 13:29 But he said, No, lest while you gather up the darnel you also root up the wheat with them. Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest. And in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, First gather together the darnel and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my granary. Yehshua explains the meaning of this parable in the following verses. Mat 13:36 Then sending the crowds away, Jesus went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnel of the field. Mat 13:37 He answered and said to them, He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man; Mat 13:38 the field is the world; the good seed are the sons of the kingdom; but the darnel are the sons of the evil one. Mat 13:39 The enemy who sowed them is the Devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. Mat 13:40 Therefore as the darnel are gathered and burned in the fire, so it shall be in the end of this world. Mat 13:41 The Son of Man shall send out His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who do iniquity, Mat 13:42 and shall cast them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Mat 13:43 Then the righteous shall shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. The wheat represents the true children of the kingdom—those who, by abiding in Yehshua, bear lasting spiritual fruit. Their lives produce “full grains”—righteous works, obedience to Torah, love, and souls won for the kingdom that endure into eternity. Jhn 15:1 I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. The very first Hebrew word in the bible is B‘resheit. We translate it as “In the Beginning” and that’s a very good way to begin the Bible, but this is deeper than a “starting point” or a reference to the time of creation. Preparing for the coming of Passover in the next few months, we have been looking at the Passover Story and its meaning to be hopped over, chosen. We are chosen to go forward, to leave Egypt and become the New Creation, The Bride of Christ. In order to be that Bride of Christ, we need to be a FirstFruit. So let’s dig into this word for FirstFruit to understand what it means and how we become FirstFruit. Let’s read Leviticus 23:4-14 to refresh our minds about these feast days. 4 “These are the appointed feasts of the Lord, the holy convocations, which you shall proclaim at the time appointed for them. 5 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight,[a] is the Lord’s Passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work. 8 But you shall present a food offering to the Lord for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any ordinary work.” The Feast of Firstfruits 9 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest, 11 and he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, so that you may be accepted. As a preposition, the letter beit can mean, “in – into – within – on – for – as” Translators have chosen to use “IN” – as in “in the first place”, or “IN the beginning” Genesis 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.We could also translate it as “For the Firstfruit” if we reread the Genesis 1:1 replacing that first word with this translation we read, For the Firstfruit, Yehovah created the Heavens and the Earth. In continuing to prepare ourselves for the Passover this coming spring, let’s look at the first time the word Pesach – Passover is actually recorded in the scriptures and seek to understand this word in order to understand the meaning of this Feast Day. Exodus 12:1-14 12 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, 2 “This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year. 3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb[a] for his family, one for each household. 4 If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat. 5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. 6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or boiled in water, but roast it over a fire—with the head, legs and internal organs. 10 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. 11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord’s Passover. 12 “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord. 13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt. 14 “This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord—a lasting ordinance. Why are we talking about the Passover again? Because each year it needs to be retaught. Even this chapter of Exodus tells us we will need to explain it to our children what we are doing and why over and over again. Exodus 12:26-27 26 And when your children ask you, ‘What does this ceremony mean to you?’ 27 then tell them, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice to the LORD, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’” Then the people bowed down and worshiped. Chapter 11 of Exodus tells us about the First Born of those who are not covered by the blood and what will happen to them. Exodus 11:4-6 4 So Moses said, “This is what theLORD says: ‘About midnight I will go throughout Egypt. 5 Every firstborn son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill, and all the firstborn of the cattle as well. 6 There will be loud wailing throughout Egypt—worse than there has ever been or ever will be again. 7 But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any person or animal.’ Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel. This is Yehovah telling the people through Moses in advance what to expect – therefore Ch 11 is prophetic, about what will happen in the very short future before the Greater Exodus we read about in: ● Jeremiah 23:7-8: “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when they shall no longer say, ‘As the LORD lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As the LORD lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel out of the north country and from all the countries where he had driven them.'” ● Ezekiel 36:24-28: “I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries… I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you… and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.” ● Isaiah 11:11-12:11 In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush,[a] from Elam, from Babylonia,[b] from Hamath and from the islands of the Mediterranean. 12 He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth. According to the timeline we see in the SightedMoon Charts, we expect this Greater Exodus to begin at Passover 2030. That is just 5 short years away. This is why we are preparing for Passover this year months before the event, so that you are prepared to keep this rehearsal, understanding it’s meanings for the future. – Ba’al Moloch the God Ba’al, the Sacred Bull, was widely worshipped in the ancient Near East and wherever Punic culture extended. Baal Moloch was conceived under the form of a calf or an ox or depicted as a man with the head of a bull. Hadad, Baal or simply the King identified the god within his cult. The name Moloch is not the name he was known by among his worshippers, but a Hebrew translation. The written form Moloch (in the Septuagint Greek translation of the Old Testament), or Molech (Hebrew), is no different than the word Melech or king, transformed by interposing the vowels of bosheth or ‘shameful thing’. He is sometimes also called Milcom in the Old Testament (1 Kings 11:5, 1 Kings 11:33, 2 Kings 23:13 and Zephaniah 1:5) Forms and grammar The Hebrew letters מלך (mlk) usually stands for melek ‘king’ (Proto-Northwest Semitic malku) but when vocalized as mōlek in Masoretic Hebrew text, they have been traditionally understood as a proper name Μολοχ (molokh) (Proto-Northwest Semitic Mulku) in the corresponding Greek renderings in the Septuagint translation, in Aquila, and in the Greek Targum. The form usually appears in the compound lmlk. The Hebrew preposition l- means ‘to’, but it can often mean ‘for’ or ‘as a(n)’. Accordingly one can translate lmlk as “to Moloch” or “for Moloch” or “as a Moloch”, or “to the Moloch” or “for the Moloch” or “as the Moloch”, whatever a “Moloch” or “the Moloch” might be. We also once find hmlk ‘the Moloch’ standing by itself. But nothing particularly suggests these identifications other than mlk in the various names. Amos 5.27 reads in close translation: But you shall carry Sikkut your king, and Kiyyun, your images, the star-symbol of your god which you made for yourself. The Septuagint renders ‘your king’ as Moloch, perhaps from a scribal error, whence the verse appears in Acts 7.43: You have lifted up the shrine of Molech and the star of your god Rephan, the idols you made to worship. Accordingly this association of Moloch with these other gods is probably spurious. It has traditionally been understood to mean burning children alive to the god Moloch. But some have suggested a rite of purification by fire instead, though perhaps a dangerous one. References to passing through fire without mentioning mlk appear in Deuteronomy 12.31, 18.10–13; 2 Kings 21.6; Ezekiel 20.26,31; 23.37. So the existence of this practice is well documented. Who were these “Wise Men” the Bible tells us about!? Much has been written about the life of Jesus Christ, the historical person whose name is attached to the many different denominations of Christianity that exist today. In fact, so much has been written that one might wonder whether anything truly new could be written about this one life. As the reader will see, new facts about the life of Jesus Christ can be ascertained by combining the accounts of the Bible with secular historical accounts and traditions about the time in which He lived. This chapter is not intended to be a complete history of the life of Jesus Christ. It will cover those aspects of His life and times which have not been generally known. The prior chapter dealing with the Parthian Empire discussed historical events shaping the world into which Jesus Christ was born. When some surprising information about His life is added to the history contained in the previous chapter, it can be seen that Jesus Christ actually played a role in the great power politics which occurred between the empires of Parthia and Rome. The Bible hints that He could have played a much larger role in the political affairs of that era if He had chosen to do so. Did Jesus Really Live? There is no doubt that the person, Jesus Christ, actually lived in Palestine at the beginning of the first century A. D. While some skeptics doubt this fact, this chapter will begin by offering firm evidence that Jesus Christ was a real, historical person. Josephus, a Jewish historian of the first century A. D., regarded the life of Jesus Christ as an established fact. In Antiquities of the Jews, Josephus wrote: “there was about this time, Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man, for He was a doer of wonderful works, — a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews, and many of the Gentiles. He was Christ; and when Pilate [Pontius Pilate, Roman Procurator of Judea], at the suggestion of the principle men among us, had condemned him to the cross…He appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him; and the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day.”1 In this account, written shortly after Christ died, Josephus not only gave us a powerful witness that Jesus Christ truly lived, but also provided an independent corroboration of many of the biblically-discussed events of His life. Josephus refers to him as “a wise man,” and wonders whether He was more than a mere man because of the “wonderful works” He did. That a non-Christian, Jewish historian of the apostolic era writes of the miracles of Jesus as actual facts offers contemporary support to the Bible’s accounts about them. Josephus agrees with the testamental writings that Jesus was sentenced to be crucified by Pontius Pilate at the behest of the Jewish Sanhedrin, “the principle men among us.” Josephus also acknowledged that Jesus Christ fulfilled many prophecies of the Hebrew prophets about the Messiah, and even refers to His resurrection as an historical fact! Josephus’ reference to Jesus as “the Christ” acknowledges that Jesus was the Messiah, “the anointed.” Since a non-Christian source so close to the actual time of Christ has confirmed these facts of His life, the musings of modern skeptics questioning Christ’s existence are without merit. Josephus could speak with eyewitnesses of Jesus’ life; modern skeptics are almost two millennia removed from the events, and their writings are merely speculative. Jesus Christ did live, and the writings of Josephus substantiate the Bible’s claims of His performance of supernatural deeds as well as His being raised from the dead. Roman secular sources agree with Josephus. Celsus, an anti-Christian writer of the Roman Empire in the second century A.D., wrote: “It was by magic that He [Jesus] was able to do the miracles which He appeared to have done.”2 Here a Roman opponent of Christianity grudgingly acknowledges the reality of Christ’s “miracles,” which he labels as “magic.” However, Quadratus, writing in approximately 117-134 A.D., “urged people to believe in Jesus because the effect of His miracles continued up to the present — people had been cured and raised from the dead, and ‘some of them…have survived even to our own day.’”3 Tacitus, the famous Roman historian, writing about the Christians just decades after the death of Christ, stated: “Nero fabricated scapegoats — and punished…the notoriously depraved Christians (as they were popularly called). Their originator, Christ, had been executed in Tiberius’ reign by the governor of Judea, Pontius Pilate.”4 Tacitus’ comment about Christ appears as a mere aside in an overall account of events in the reign of Nero. When we look at the future, it is what we are teaching our children today that will be the path of our society in the future. The Spiritual health of our future lies in what our children grow to adopt as their truth. Society, not just parents, also influences our children, and sometimes the teaching of society is stronger than the teaching the parents give to our kids. But that doesn’t mean we give up and let society teach our kids. We must speak plainly and emphatically to our children and teach them the truth. In the coming season, the influence in our society will be about Christmas. I know this influence is strong in Kenya, as while we were out grocery shopping in Nairobi, a group of kids came up and started commenting on Stuart’s long white beard and associating him with Santa and began singing “We wish you a Merry Christmas”. Through rounds of this song we had to get into the van and get away from their begging for items from our grocery order. Yehovah also has had a hard time teaching His Own Children to worship Him in purity without adding in the worship of the pagan gods. The influences of the world are strong, behind these influences of course is the Devil, the deceiver, the destroyer, the one who leads us to worship the dead. Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; In the news this week, there was a situation in Israel where two Palestinians drove their vehicle into a crowd of people, and one man got out of the car and started stabbing the victims who had been run down. Both these terrorists were killed by soldiers in the area, but the father of one of these 18 year old terrorists praised his son and said he knew from childhood his son would die a martyr. This father was proud of his son. This is a culture of death, a culture that celebrates the death of their children and the destruction of anyone… whether Jew, Christian, American, or even anyone who is not of their own sect of Islam. This culture of death, are we guilty of teaching this to our children too? Are we teaching our children to choose life?If we are allowing the teaching of Christmas to influence our children, if we are allowing lies to infiltrate our worship of Yehovah, then all measures of other lies will easily lead our kids astray. Yehovah gave us some plain instructions in Jeremiah regarding what’s called in our modern day the Christmas Tree. Jeremiah 10:1-10 1Hear the word which the Lord speaks to you, O house of Israel. 2 Thus says the Lord: “Do not learn the way of the Gentiles; Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, For the Gentiles are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the peoples are [a]futile; For one cuts a tree from the forest, The work of the hands of the workman, with the ax. 4 They decorate it with silver and gold; They fasten it with nails and hammers So that it will not topple. 5 They are upright, like a palm tree, And they cannot speak; They must be carried, Because they cannot go by themselves. Do not be afraid of them, For they cannot do evil, Nor can they do any good.” 6 Inasmuch as there is none like You, O Lord (You are great, and Your name is great in might), 7 Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? For this is Your rightful due. For among all the wise men of the nations, And in all their kingdoms, There is none like You.8 But they are altogether dull-hearted and foolish; A wooden idol is a [b]worthless doctrine. 9 Silver is beaten into plates; It is brought from Tarshish, And gold from Uphaz, The work of the craftsman And of the hands of the metalsmith; Blue and purple are their clothing; They are all the work of skillful men. 10 But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. This is an idol and even the singing regarding this tree is worship – it will bring Yehovah’s indignation. We are told not to learn the ways of the Gentiles, it is difficult, it’s everywhere, everyone is doing it. Even if Kenyan’s are not putting this tree up in their homes, the venerating of such a symbol is worshipping an idol. If we are teaching our children songs to sing about this tree, or about the season, we are teaching the children to mix in the pagan worship towards Yehovah. We are teaching our children syncretism. He is said to have suffered persecution under Diocletian, then rescued from prison by Constantine. He is said to be known for generosity, to children and destitute women who would have otherwise fallen into prostitution, providing them with dowries. Who is the Antichrist? The Antichrist is a person who is against Christ. The prefix anti can also mean “instead of,” and both meanings will apply to this coming world leader. He will overtly oppose Christ and at the same time pass himself off as Christ. The Antichrist will aggressively live up to his terrible name. He will persecute, torture, and kill the people of God as he leads the armies of the world into the Battle of Armageddon. He will be the most powerful dictator the world has ever seen, making Caesar, Hitler, Mao, and Saddam seem tame by comparison. Even though the Antichrist is identified by that name only four times in the Bible, he appears many more times under various aliases. He is also called: “the promise that shall come” –Daniel 9:26 NKJV “a fierce king”—Daniel 8:23 NLT “a master of intrigue”—Daniel 8:23 NIV “a despicable man” –Daniel 11:21 NLT “a worthless shepherd”—Zechariah 11:16–17 NLT “the one who brings destruction” –2 Thessalonians 2:3 NLT “the lawless one” –2 Thessalonians 2:8 NKJV “the evil man” –2 Thessalonians 2:9 NLT “the Beast” –Revelation 13:1 NKJV When he comes on the scene, people will flock to him like flies to honey, and they will do anything he asks. How will he unite the nations? The prophet Daniel describes the Antichrist in these terms: “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast … And there … were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words. … He shall speak pompous words against the Most High” (Daniel 7:7–8, 25). As Daniel says, the coming world leader will be renowned for this kind of eloquence, which will capture the attention and administration of the world. Daniel goes on to tell us that not only will this golden–tongued orator speak in high–blown terms, but he will also speak arrogantly against God. The apostle John describes him similarly in the book of Revelation: “And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies” (Revelation 13:5). Daniel continues his description of the Antichrist by telling us he is a man “whose appearance was greater than his fellows” (Daniel 7:20). In terms of his outward appearance, this man will be strikingly attractive. The combination of his magnetic personality, speaking ability, and extreme good looks will make him virtually irresistible to the masses. The apostle John expands on Daniel’s description of the Antichrist’s blasphemous acts by telling us that every living person will be required to worship this man. “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as man as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed” (Revelation 13:15). Finally, Revelation 13:1–8 describes the Antichrist as a Beast—an appropriate title for him. During the last 3½ years of the Tribulation, the Antichrist will personify Satan himself. Second Thessalonians 2:9 says, “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.” Step by step, the Antichrist will promote himself from a European leader, to a world leader, to a tyrannical global dictator, and finally to a god. What is the “unholy trinity”? Satan is the first person and the father of the unholy trinity. The Antichrist will be the second member and the son of the unholy trinity. The False Prophet, the third member of the unholy trinity, will direct the worship and praise of the people back to the Antichrist (Revelation 13:11–12). How does the Antichrist gain political power? His rise to power will be inconspicuous. It will not be noticed in the beginning and will hardly raise the attention even of the those who are closer to the center of action. He will rise out of the general population. John says, “Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns” (Revelation 13:1). The sea in biblical imagery stands for the general mass of humanity or, more specifically, the Gentile nations. Whatever power the Antichrist has, he is allowed to have it by the overriding authority of Almighty God. As bad as the Tribulation will be, it will never be out of God’s control. There is a leash on Satan, and God is holding it. Satan will be able to do only that which God allows him to do during the Tribulation period. Who will worship the Antichrist? According to Revelation 13:8, “all who dwell on the earth will worship him.” Daniel 7:25 tells us that the Antichrist is a cultic leader. “He shall speak pompous words against the Most High … and shall intend to change times and law.” He will speak out against the true God of heaven. The language suggests that he will try to raise himself to the level of God and make declarations from that position. Second Thessalonians 2:4 says the Antichrist “opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” He will accept the worship
