This week Bri and Tay are joined by Michel to talk about his experience with Fabry disease! A real pain in the kidney, Fabry disease is caused by the lack of or faulty enzyme needed to metabolize lipids, fat-like substances that include oils, waxes, and fatty acids. Michel has been on both sides of the medical system. A paramedic and also a patient who has had a steep uphill battle.
