Happiness is fleeting, yet we chase it because it is pivotal to the human condition. Even the American Declaration of Independence mentions the pursuit of happiness. Is hedonist behavior pointless? I believe fulfillment is the wise way to obtain steady happiness. Fulfillment leads to joy, whereas pleasure will lead to momentary happiness.
