First, it was Shakespeare. Now, it's Disney. Love has not always meant what it is thought to tell today. In my book Biblical Bachelor, I discuss the idea of how Disney distorted love for an entire generation. The "Happily Ever After" gave synthetic expectations, which is why I also refer to it as the "Happy Fairy Ever After" because it is not real! Love is more of a choice than a feeling.
