Julie and Hank discuss Rachel Carson and her book Silent Spring, which argues that manmade chemicals affect the health and safety of humans. But despite the alarmism, today more people have access to food and the rate of cancer and other diseases are on the decline. Julie and Hank discuss how her book has been debunked many times and why we shouldn't be alarmed by her point of view.
