As a physiotherapist, a pregnancy and Postpartum fitness coach, a registered physiotherapist, and a mom of 2, Surabhi Veitch has gone through it all. From her world completely changing after having children to not knowing how to navigate symptoms or movements in her new body. Surabhi has learned a lot throughout the years which helped her in creating her 8-week Postpartum Return to Exercise Program (PREP), helping moms discover strength and confidence in their postpartum bodies, and empowering them to focus on self-care, self-kindness, and prioritize themselves without guilt.
In today's episode we chatted about:
- The importance of identifying how you want to be in your roles
- Accepting that adjustments will be made once you have kids
- The importance of challenging the socialization of kids as parents
- The importance of having support throughout the fitness journey postpartum
- The need to know that you are not alone, and don't need to struggle in solitude
