MEMORABLE MOMENTS

“Confidence is defined in two words: ‘I Can’. This mindset change sets us in motion to give others the opportunity to be supportive of themselves and others.”

“Whenever you’re at a crossroads and you don’t know what to do…take the bolder of the options.”

“Doing what I wanted felt right to me - It was all in alignment with my voice, my vision, and my talents. I’ve ended up doing what I love all my life because of that decision.”

“‘Could you please help me understand?’ These words can be transformative in a situation of uncomfortableness, conflict, or confrontation.

“The A Train: Agree. Apologize. Act. This framework will expedite complaints, whereas explanations only aggravate them.”

“We can’t motivate people to do better by making them feel bad. When someone makes a mistake, we should reinforce the desired behavior instead of shaming them for what they shouldn’t be doing.”

“We may not like how a person is behaving, but when we work to understand their perspective, it gives us the compassion and incentive to be empathetic instead of impatient.”

“Choose to model what it looks like to be a leader, mentor and champion of other women.”
