Is God real? How do you know? Can someone really be healed and set free? When many people hear the name Jesus, they instantly associate it with “CHURCH” or “religion”, you know that boring thing people do on Sundays, and shut it down never receiving a chance to hear the REAL gospel. But if God was NOT real, why do so many stories exist? How have so many factual events been confirmed over time? Why do so many people have the same story and come to the same conclusion? Why hasn’t anyone EVER been able to disprove Scripture? That’s because he’s Real. In 2015 I didn’t go looking for God, but through a super natural encounter he found me in one of my most broken times in my life. Since then I’ve experienced miracle after miracle witness to additional confirmations of God’s presence, healing, and FREEDOM. Now we’re sharing the stories of others, Welcome to Share Your Scripture

Preacher on Sundays, Lukewarm Christian Rest of the Week with Philip Fairley

🔥 Episode Summary In this powerful and deeply personal episode of Share Your Scripture, Philip Fairley shares his journey from growing up as a preacher’s son to living a “lukewarm Christian” life and ultimately experiencing a true, life-changing surrender to God. Philip opens up about the tension between religion and relationship, the pain of hypocrisy in the home, seasons of rebellion, and the wake-up calls that brought him back to faith. Through family struggles, loss, business challenges, and a life-altering moment involving his daughter, Philip reveals how God used every circumstance to draw him back—not to routine religion, but to real, surrendered faith. This episode is a raw reminder that:👉 Faith isn’t about showing up on Sundays, it’s about how you live every single day. 💡 Key Takeaways 1. Religion Without Relationship Feels Empty Growing up in church doesn’t guarantee real faith. Philip followed the motions but never truly experienced God early on. 2. Hypocrisy Can Push People Away from Faith Seeing one version of Christianity in public and another at home created confusion and doubt. Many people struggle when faith feels inconsistent or forced. 3. Community Is Essential to Spiritual Growth True transformation happened when Philip was surrounded by a strong, faith-filled community. Faith is difficult to sustain in isolation. 4. You Can Believe in God… and Still Not Be Fully Surrendered Philip lived years as a “checkbox Christian”—church on Sunday, worldly living the rest of the week. Faith without surrender leads to spiritual stagnation. 5. God Uses Pain to Get Your Attention Family trauma, loss, and broken relationships became turning points. Difficult seasons often reveal where your faith truly stands. 6. Your Children Can Lead You Back to God Philip’s daughter’s transformation after a near-fatal accident became a wake-up call. Sometimes God speaks through the people closest to you. 7. Surrender Is the Turning Point Blessings didn’t come until Philip fully leaned in—through faith, discipline, and action. Surrender looks different for everyone, but it requires letting go of control. 8. Faith Requires Action, Not Just Words Going to church isn’t enough—living it daily is what matters. Real faith shows up in: Daily habits Decisions Priorities 9. The “In-Between” Season Tests Your Faith There’s always a gap between stepping out in faith and seeing results. Growth happens while you’re waiting, trusting, and staying consistent. 10. God’s Blessings Often Follow Obedience When Philip changed his routine and truly leaned in, things began to shift. Not overnight—but consistently. ⏱️ Key Timestamps 0:00 – Purpose of the podcast and sharing testimonies 1:42 – Introduction to Philip Fairley 2:30 – Growing up as a preacher’s son 4:30 – Struggles with hypocrisy and forced faith 6:00 – First real transformation through community 6:47 – Family crisis and loss of faith 7:46 – Traumatic moment that changed everything 9:28 – Walking away from faith in young adulthood 11:22 – Returning to church for the “right reasons” 12:49 – Wife’s transformation and renewed exposure to faith 15:02 – Living as a “checkbox Christian” 16:24 – Loss, anger, and major life challenges 17:21 – Daughter’s accident and turning point 19:23 – Realization about surrender and faith 21:54 – The “in-between” season of faith explained 24:00 – Importance of community and accountability 27:29 – Leaning into faith during business struggles 28:00 – Breakthroughs begin after consistent obedience 👤 About Philip Fairley Philip Fairley is a veteran of the legal industry and a serial entrepreneur.
