welcome to shallow vows! a podcast dedicated to “american dad!”. there are no cuts. no edits. no cohost. no producer. not even a real podcast setup. just me, a one lady circus, sitting on my living room floor. dissecting each episode, in order, in an add-riddled stream of consciousness. if you enjoy american dad, listening to people go to yapville or both, shallow vows might be the podcast for you. although it is just me talking to myself, i want to really dive on in with other ad fans! maybe one day seth macfarlane will hear us. so tell me your theories (i have a wild one), your favorite & least favorite characters and episodes, the crazy details you caught that maybe someone else missed, your favorite celebrity appearance. what quotes live in your head rent free? are you new to the show? even better. i will gladly fill you in. no question is too stupid to go unanswered for either of us. let’s pretend we’re besties facetiming each other and tear each episode to shreds. btw, my name is sam. i was born, raised, and currently live in ct. not far from where seth macfarlane himself grew up! i have been watching american dad since i was 12 (i’m 27 now) and it has chemically changed my brain. when i have dementia one day, all i will have left are american dad references. i have two goals in this life: to explain to seth my big fan theory, and guest star on an episode (and i will happily live in this delusion and manifest it every day). i’ll be waiting for him to talk back. in the meantime, walk with me through the fire of twenty something seasons. new episodes every tuesday/wednesday. questions? comments? is your name seth macfarlane and you finally found my podcast?i am very easy to get ahold of. dive on in!
