In Episode 8 – Part 1 of the Shaffer RULES Podcast, Brian and Corey kick things off with Heaven Hill Bottled in Bond and a hilarious conversation about the lost art of “sweet talking” your way into a better deal. From convenience store loyalty cards and penny candy nostalgia to overpriced frozen yogurt, this episode starts with the kind of everyday chaos and comedy that feels instantly familiar.
From there, the conversation bounces into celebrity culture, and the absurd reality of Paris Hilton-branded coffee creamer, followed by beer talk, local shoutouts, a discussion about music, and how musicians actually make money now.
This episode also features Corey’s “Find of the Week:” a 1977 Ford Econoline Club Wagon that may become part of the show’s personality going forward.
