It was the summer of 1969 and just a few weeks before the infamous Manson murders of actress Sharon Tate and Leno Labianca; Manson ordered his follower Bobby Beausoleil to get drug money from their friend Gary Hinman.
Hinman was a local music teacher and dealt a little drugs on the side - what started as a shakedown for money turned into 3 days of torture and a murder that would propel the Manson Family past the point of no return and into the darkest nights of the Summer of '69
