Professor XWill Nembhard produce Hali esque numbers with Hali’s mentorship? 3). KeenanThe Pacers have not had a good track record of signing their draft picks to second contracts. Which player currently on his rookie deal (Mathurin, Walker, Sheppard, Furphy, or Jones) do you see having a long term role in the Pacers’ organization beyond the next couple of seasons? 4). Life Enthusiast (3 questions)A. Would you rather see one of the fringe rotational players (think Furph/Wiseman) hit amid this year of developmental freedom or the Pacers consolidate and allow for a more likely contender (ex. Benn) to thrive with consistent minutes?B. What does a “successful” season look like to you?C. Would you rather the roster look more similar or different to its current state by the end of the season? 5). SP/DR KekLordWith no Haliburton , do you think that players on our team like Nesmith will improve on creating their own shots ? 6). Jamison McWhich do you think could be replicated again the most, Aaron Nesmiths heroic 4th quarter against the Knicks game 1 or Tyrese Halliburton’s inhuman ability to make 4 game winners in a playoff run? Ep 1239Weird Lineups, Mathurin's Trade Likelihood + MORE (August Mailbag Pt. 1)

Alex Golden and Mike Facci answer your Mailbag Questions for the month of August! Today, the guys answer 6 questions for Part One of the mailbag. Below are the questions that were asked: 1). Jake Exline - What are your favorite non playoff 2025 Pacers memories? Will trivia be coming back next season? 2). Blue & Gold BuzzWith Nesmith likely getting extended (hopefully) do you think that most likely turns Mathurin into a trade piece, especially if he has a great year starting this year. 3). Garrett (got us the NBA Jam shirt) Do you think Benn, Shep and Obi finish out the season as Pacers or are they traded?Hot take: Jay Huff becomes our starting center and we finish with a better record than the Bucks. 4). Chris WeechHow do you think the chemistry will be this upcoming season? Last year’s team played so well because it felt very much like everyone had the championship goal. This year is obviously different. Nembhard will try to prove he can be a lead guard. Mathurin wants to get paid. Thoughts on how guys individual agendas might affect the team chemistry different from last year. Appreciate it fellas 5). Rooster! What are the chances Jay Huff ends up being a viable starting center in the NBA developing in our system?Hot take: Pacers will be a top 5 seed and make it to at least the second round. Everyone has overlooked us for the last two years. Why should this year be any different. 6). Schwarz BruderSame question I sent Tony (East). What are some weird, experimental line-ups you'd like to see us try out? One example would be Nembhard, Furphy, Walker, Siakam, and Huff as a unit. Going with maximum size, something you never really see the Pacers do. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 1215Will Pascal Siakam fit the Pacers next Window? + Was Myles Turner the LEAST important Pacers Starter?

Alex Golden and Mike Facci answer the final portion of the July Mailbag. Thank you for your questions, and we apologize for those of you who sent questions that we did not directly respond to. With a lot taking place the past few days after asking for questions, some of these questions were outdated and we had to cut some from our discussion. 1). Casey JohnsonOn a scale of 1-10 how gracefully do you think Pascal's game will age? I see a lot of people thinking he won't fit the "next window," but with less basketball on his body than most at his age and the fact that he already plays a bit of an old man game in the post (which is a compliment), I feel like his talent has a pretty long tail on it relatively. 2). Randy Will the Pacers extend Mathurin now that Myles has left? 3). Christopher Was Myles the least important starter on our team? 4). Douglas Could we get Ben Simmons? League min or vet exception? 1 yr deal just to see or Isaiah Thomas has been floating around different leagues. Curious 5). Epic Slay How do you feel about us giving a 1st when we signed Brogdon and now getting nothing when they signed Turner? Does it feel like the Bucks really took advantage of us both times? 6). MVPacerNo matter what, the way we play will change. Whether it’s IJAX, Richards, or Bradley. Our scheme will be very different. Also with Mathurin starting and Nembhard at Point, same thing. How do you think this changes our play style? Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. See pcm.adswizz.com for information about our collection and use of personal data for advertising.

David MatilloCould Wiseman and IJax end up being great this season for Pacers despite coming off injury? 4). Matt Beckham You Mentioned Miami in most recent pod. Thoughts on trading for Kalel Ware? 5). Pacers Faithful what do you think are the players’ reactions to losing Myles- both towards the front office/ownership and Myles? Specifically Pascal who came here partially for Myles and Tyrese 6). Chandler (lengthy one) My questions are pretty much the same even without Myles, so I'm interested in what you would say the Pacers probably do if they're somehow barely around or below 500 at the trade deadline from either not playing good enough or if they have to fight through injuries throughout the season? You think they probably make some changes or stay pat and if actually make changes, what changes would they possibly make/you would want them to make if any unless they wait until either the draft or free agency to finally make moves? I'm sure it varies on what everyone's value is at those points in the season and they also wanna make sure that Tyrese is happy with all the moves that they make, so that he isn't requesting a trade and I'm wondering if he either was told about the Myles situation before hand and cosigned or that whenever he found out, he would be content with the move as long as they have a good enough center since some star players are in the loop with everything/most moves that are going on since communication is EXTREMELY important and obviously Pascal really loved the idea of playing with Myles, so I'm really interested with how he feels about that now as well honestly... Also I'd like to add that if the Pacers somehow have a high enough pick, you think they either draft the best player available, draft a center, trade that pick plus multiple picks to either bring in another star next to Tyrese and Pascal, or trade for multiple role players that fit this roster next to Tyrese and Pascal? This was a lot, so I apologize for how long this is, but I want to say that I really wanna say thanks for everything and that I appreciate all the hard work and effort that you and @_Facci always provide for us with content and guests throughout the season to keep the podcast running so thank you #IndianaPacers #Pacers #PACERNATION #LetsGoPacers Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Ep 1211Myles Turner STUNS Pacers and Signs with the Bucks! Where do the Pacers go from here?

In one of the most shocking free agency moves in the last 5 years, Indiana Pacers center, Myles Turner, signs a 4 year, $107M contract with the Milwaukee Bucks in Free Agency, ending his 10 year stint with the Pacers. Alex and Facci discuss the crazy day for the Pacers and what this means for the franchise moving forward. The guys look at potential options the Pacers could pivot to with Turner on the move, why they feel like Indiana not reaching a deal could be a blessing in disguise and so much more.
