Summary: Sin is any thought, motive or deed that goes against God. Adam and Eve were morally perfect in the Garden and after they rebelled, moral imperfection was born. Sin has impacted every relationship in creation. It broke our fellowship with God as well as with each other and with all creation. It even shifted how we relate to ourselves. The consequence for sin is death, which has become a normal part of our lives. Our problem as humanity is sin. We lost everything and now we are helpless to do anything about it.
