Here is the summary of the series. Persecution caused the church to grow. The Bible is God's infallible Word, but we need the Holy Spirit to apply the Bible. God providentially prepared the world for the gospel. God used women. Persecutions lead to gospel opportunities. How we respond to persecution determines a good outcome. Choose to be happy and praise the Lord. The non-Christian world is a world without hope. We must sometimes disobey government, but we must never take up arms against it. The Lord's Supper embodies persecution because it was instituted on the night the Lord Jesus was betrayed.
