Professional cyclist Anna Moriah Wilson was in Austin, Texas, for a race when she was shot to death inside a friend’s home. What first looked like a quiet, targeted killing quickly turned into one of the most bizarre true crime stories in recent years, involving a secret relationship, a jealous girlfriend, an international manhunt, plastic surgery, and a 2023 murder conviction.
In this episode of Serial Napper, we revisit the case of Kaitlin Armstrong, the yoga instructor accused of killing Mo Wilson after discovering her boyfriend was still seeing her behind her back. Prosecutors said Armstrong tracked Mo’s location, followed her home, and carried out a planned shooting before fleeing the country using a fake passport. She was later found hiding in Costa Rica after 43 days on the run.
This case shocked the cycling world.
