Show Notes

This episode is NOT about what you think when you hear “politics.” It’s not about views, or sides, or candidates. This is politics through the lens of what you've come to expect and love from me and Self-Made Mastery, which is learning how to take control of one more aspect of your life in a way that is exciting and empowering. We're looking at how enthusiastic and consistent participation in our electoral system (here, in the United States) is going to affect us mentally, and what strategies and mindsets we can adopt in order to both stay engaged politically and also protect our mental health. Then we are going to shift away from how voting affects us personally and look at how voting actually does have an impact on our political system, even though we may sometimes feel like it doesn't matter.
