In May 2020, Eleanor Williams, a 20-year-old woman from Barrow-in-Furness, started typing out a lengthy post on Facebook.
In it, she described how she had been trafficked, gang raped and beaten black and blue by 'evil, yet clever men'. Eleanor was desperate. Desperate to be heard and desperate for the authorities to rescue her. But there was a shocking twist in this story that very few saw coming...
