Show Notes
Winsome Mumford runs her family properties "Mogriguy" and "Parkmead", just north of Dubbo, where she's busy rebuilding her Hereford Simmental cross cattle herd after the recent drought.
In this episode, Winsome shares her background in training and the corporate world, and how she continues to draw on her off-farm income to help achieve her goals on-farm. With soil and water management at the forefront of her decision making, Winsome has connected with many levels of government and industry to achieve a number of erosion control projects to help enhance the health of her farm and for the community downstream.
Local Land Services Mixed Farming Officer Rohan Leach sat down with Winsome to talk about her foray back into agriculture.
