Show Notes
A self-proclaimed “vocal enhancer” Lisa wasn’t cynical enough to launch a career in journalism, her major at Western
Kentucky University (She was on the 5-year plan). The Elizabethton, Kentucky native landed in Nashville with several
singing opportunities including the heavy metal band Warning, only to depart in a dramatic business divorce. She is now
the long time co-owner of Suzie’s Café while her husband runs a non-profit helping people find furniture to restart their
lives. One music critic described her as a “Southern lady who sings with passion, conviction and severe skill.”
