Auburn, Oklahoma, San Diego State, and Indiana were left out of the NCAA Tournament, marking Auburns first miss since 2021. Despite strong cases, the selection committee denied their bids. Oklahoma, with an 11-game winning streak, and San Diego State, with a 22-11 record, were also snubbed. Indianas Hoosiers, under new coach Darian DeVries, lost six of their last seven games. New Mexico, despite an 8-8 record against tougher Quad one and two teams, also missed out. These teams now focus on rebuilding for next season.
