Violent incidents against trans women in Seattle have increased in the past year.
They’ve happened to people while strolling through Queen Anne in daylight, and to people on Capitol Hill hanging out with friends.
And this is all happening against the backdrop of anti-trans rhetoric and policy from the federal government.
