A physical education teacher at Skykomish K-twelve School in Washington state was arrested for allegedly raping a student over two years. The suspect, who also served as athletic director and Title IX coordinator, is facing charges including rape of a child and possession of explicit images of minors. The school will remain closed until March sixteenth, and a King County Sheriffs deputy will be on site daily when classes resume. An independent third-party probe into the incident is also being launched.
