Aleksandr Shablykin, 32, killed his mother, Zoya Shablykina, 52, and three neighbors in a stabbing attack on the Key Peninsula. The victims were found outside a home in Wauna, near Gig Harbor. Shablykin was shot dead by a sheriffs deputy at the scene. Zoya had previously sought a protection order due to her sons mental health struggles and violent threats, but it was never served.
